Archive.org versionWith head-turning color options and good overall performance, the VAIO EA is a compelling all-purpose laptop that's easy to take with you. We also like the gesture control software and that you get a Blu-ray drive for $799. We just wish the battery lasted longer and the speakers were louder. Those looking for more graphics oomph would probably prefer the 14-inch Asus U45Jc or Samsung Q430-11, but overall the VAIO EA is definitely worthy of your attention.

Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) HD Graphics: Onboard graphics card that is built in the new Arrandale CPUs (Core i3 / i5 / i7 Dual Cores). Depending on the model and Turbo Boost, the GMA HD is clocked between 166 and 766 MHz.
Only some 3D games with very low demands are playable with these cards.

370M: The Core i3-370M is a fast clocked Core i3. The TurboBoost, AES, VTd, and Trusted Execution functions are deactivated in the i3-series. Therefore, it always clocks with max. 2.4 GHz (of course Speedstep is included). Thanks to Hyperthreading, 4 threads can be processed simultaneously.
