Reviews for the Sony VAIO VPC-Z1390X

Those who live in the lap of luxury recognize that they have to pay a premium for true exclusivity, craftsmanship, and quality. As an ultraportable laptop, the Sony VAIO VPC-Z1390X ($3,800 direct) embodies all of these things. It's the lightest 13-inch ultraportable with an optical drive, yet packs enough CPU and graphics horsepower to rival laptops three times its size. The twin 256GB solid-state drives (SSDs), a backlit keyboard, and a high resolution screen aren't offered anywhere else in such a small package, which is why we consider it one of our best laptops. Of course, no other ultraportable costs this much, either.

NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M: The Nvidia GeForce GT 330M is the successor of the GT 230M and technically just a slightly higher clocked GT 240M (but it should still maintain the power envelope of the GT 230M as the naming suggests).
Non demanding games should be playable with these graphics cards.

460M: The Core i5-460M has only 3 MB L3 Cache (compared to the I7-620M) and clocks between 2.53-2.8 GHz (Turbo Mode). Thanks to Hyperthreading, 4 threads can be processed simultaneously. An integrated graphics card (GMA HD) and a DDR3 memory controller are also included in the package.» Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Processsors.

There are hardly any tablets in this display size range anymore. For subnotebooks, on the other hand, it is the standard format.
The advantage of subnotebooks is that the entire laptop can be small and therefore easily portable. The smaller display also has the advantage of requiring less power, which further improves battery life and thus mobility. The disadvantage is that reading texts is more strenuous on the eyes. High resolutions are more likely to be found in standard laptops.

80%: This rating is not earth-shattering. This rating must actually be seen as average, since there are about as many devices with worse ratings as better ones. A purchase recommendation can only be seen with a lot of goodwill, unless it is about websites that generally rate strictly.
