Sony Tablet S now $100 cheaper
Sony is starting out the new year with a price cut on its first tablet.
The 9.4-inch Tablet S will now retail for $399 and $499 for the 16GB and 32GB models, respectively. The timing of the price cut is interesting in that CES is only right around the corner. Is Sony simply clearing stock or will there be a brand new model to reveal in Las Vegas?
The Tablet S is equipped with a Tegra 2 processor, 1GB RAM, front-and-rear cameras, USB 2.0, card reader and wireless-n and is Playstation Certified. Although the tablet ships with Android Honeycomb, Sony has promised an Android 4.0 update sometime 2012 for both the Tablet S and Tablet P.
