Scosche has just launched RHYTHM+, "an armband heart monitor that optically measures blood flow and movement to monitor heart rate and track calories burned more accurately than a conventional chest strap."

This accessory features dual mode wireless connectivity with Bluetooth Smart and ANT+, thus being able to work with virtually all smartphones currently on the market, as well as various sport watches and exercise equipment.

According to the official press release, Scosche RHYTHM+ can integrate with any app having Bluetooth Smart heart rate data support, including Runkeeper, Map my Fitness and Strava. "The comfortable armband is so lightweight users will forget they are wearing it during workouts" says Scosche Industries' Executive Vice President, Kas Alves.

Sosche RHYTHM+ is IP67-certified and its rechargeable lithium ion battery offers up to 8 hours of autonomy. This device can be already ordered from Scosche and their partners for $79.99 USD. For additional information, please check the press release below.

In my early school days, I hated writing and having to make up stories. A decade later, I started to enjoy it. Since then, I published a few offline articles and then I moved to the online space, where I contributed to major websites that are still present online as of 2021 such as Softpedia, Brothersoft, Download3000, but I also wrote for multiple blogs that have disappeared over the years. I've been riding with the Notebookcheck crew since 2013 and I am not planning to leave it anytime soon. In love with good mechanical keyboards, vinyl and tape sound, but also smartphones, streaming services, and digital art.
