Samsung to debut 7-inch Super AMOLED Panels
In a stark new development from the Samsung camp, Samsung Mobile Display is expected tol unleash a brand new 7-inch Super AMOLED Panel in Japan in a time span of two weeks from date. The venue for this event will be the FPD International Exhibition. Full production is likely to take steam by mid 2011.
Initial rumors about the next Tab’s display capabilities might have pointed to this stuff when they said that the said Tab would sport a Super AMOLED display. This was seen as being done by the company to put off early adopters, while the Samsung Galaxy Tab is being seen as the best android tablet of current times.
As for more insight on the Super AMOLED Panel, it is said to posses a resolution power of 1200 x 600, more than the Tab’s current 1024 x 600. Obviously this is good news, as more resolution spells out greater clarity.
For now that’s all that’s out, keep watching this space for more.
