Samsung sues Apple in France

Accusations over the patents between Samsung and Apple to continue in France

Samsung and Apple are busy once again continuing their war and this time it’s in France. The South Korean giant Samsung has filed a complaint in France against its US rival Apple for infringement of three mobile phone technology patents in its iPhone and iPad tablets. According to Samsung’s spokeswoman the complaint mainly focuses on three technology patents and not the design as the case was filed in Germany where Apple got the judgement in their favor.

The lawsuit was filed before the Paris district court in July and the first hearing is expected in December. According to a source familiar to the complaint has mentioned that it concerns the UMTS, which is one type of so called third generation mobile phone technology. He also added that this complaint targets Apple’s iPhone 3G and 3GS and iPhone4 Smartphone models and first and second-generation iPads that are mobile phone capabilities.

A court in The Hague banned three Samsung telephone models this August following an Apple suit in the Netherlands. Both these firms are also engaged in legal battles in Australia, the United States and Asia. In respond to these accusations Samsung is asking for a ban on the sales of the US firm’s products in South Korea.

All this chaos among these two companies started in April this year and now it has grown to a very large scale. Whatever may be the result of the war between these two companies but it is for sure the market is really going to face the consequence. The consumers are also going to be double minded whenever they set mind to buy one tab from either of the companies.

Well now it’s really getting harder to even imagine how all these are going to end, but from a consumer point of view we can wish to all end up as early as possible so that we get the chance to use devices from both these electronics giants.
