Samsung planning on releasing new devices on June 20th
Samsung today unveiled that they will be holding an event next month at the Earls Court Two in London, where new Galaxy and Windows devices will be released. Scheduled for the 20th of June at 7 PM, the "Samsung Premiere 2013" should shed some light on many rumored gadgets.
Over the past month reports of new Samsung devices have been flowing, including a leaked image of the Galaxy Tab 8 and a WSJ report about a rugged S4. The company's release fails to specify any products by name, but the event will revolve around the Galaxy devices as well as the new ATIV line of Windows products.
With Apple's WWDC and Microsoft's BUILD conference also in June, there doesn't appear to be a shortage of events next month, although Samsung's affair will be first in line. In addition, Samsung will be live-streaming their event online through YouTube, unlike Apple, thus allowing users to experience the unveiling first hand.
