Samsung introduces Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics-themed Galaxy Note 3
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Olympic Edition is a regular Galaxy Note 3 which comes in a very interesting package and its only drawback is availability - this limited edition gadget will only be available in stores and on the website of the Dutch carrier KPN. This limited edition is not a surprise since the standard Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is the official phone of the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics and all participating athletes already received one.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Olympic Games Edition is available for free with a two-year subscription of 55 EUR a month, or roughly 75 USD. The special box also includes a special flip cover, tickets to skating sessions in the Amsterdam Olympic Stadium and even the chance to win tickets to the great sports event which lasts from 6 December to 23 February.
As mentioned above, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Olympic Games Edition has no special hardware or software features, so it sports a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with Adreno 330 graphics, a generous 5.7-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, 13 MP back camera and 3 GB of memory.
The limited edition Galaxy Note 3 can also be purchased for 119 EUR (~163 USD), when accompanied by a subscription to the Base Mobile 200 data plan, worth 45 EUR a month (~62 USD).
