Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge to come with dual curved edges

Teaser
According to Sammobile, Samsung is working on an "Edge" version of the Galaxy S6 flagship, one which will feature a curved display on both sides. The functionality is expected to be inspired by last year's Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, a phablet with a single curved edge on the right side.

Sammobile recently published a report according to which the Samsung Galaxy S6 will also be available in a curved-display version, much like the Galaxy Note 4 before it. Sammobile is a Samsung-focused tech blog with a good reputation when it comes to leaking info on upcoming Samsung products, meaning that the info they've publicly shared has a good chance of being accurate.

Allegedly the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge will come with curved edges on both sides of the display. These areas will be used to display notifications, widgets, incoming chat messages, emails, alerts, links, and other side information, in what seems to be a perfect description of what one can do with the curved display on the Galaxy Note Edge. However, since the Galaxy S6 Edge will be considerably smaller compared to the Note Edge phablet, it is expected that the curved edges will be more comfortable to use on a regular basis.

According to the rumor, the South Korean manufacturer did more than to just copy the curved edge features originally introduced with the Galaxy Note Edge. New additions to the system include the possibility to select a main edge (depending if you're a left or right-handed user), as well as a new feature called Glance Lightning that's allegedly going to use the curved edges as notification lights when the phone rests on its front side. The notification system will allegedly be customizable, with users granted the option of choosing specific colors for certain people.
