The Core 2 Solo SU3500 is a power efficient single core processor for small subnotebooks. It is based on the Penryn architecture and offers all features of this core (Virtualization, C6 state, Dynamic Acceleration).
The performance of the single core ULV processor is compareable to a Atom 330 dual core at 1.6 GHz or a Athlon II Neo K125 single core at 1.7 GHz. However, both competitor are rated at a higher TDP. Therfore, the performance falls in the slowest category and especially due to the missing second core, the multi-threading performance can be disappointing.
With a TDP rating of 5.5 Watt (1.01 Watt minimum in Deep Power-Down mode and 12.53 Watt maximum), the CPU is one of the most power efficient mobile processors (of 2009) and suited for small and light subnotebooks.
