MagyarPebble firmware 4.0 now available
Although most budget products do not usually receive too much attention when it comes to firmware updates, Pebble is a company that does things differently. Known for its affordable smart wearables, Pebble has just announced that users of Pebble 2 and Pebble Time 2 (not officially launched yet), Pebble Time, Pebble Time Steel, and Pebble Time Round can update their firmware to version 4.0.
The new firmware includes a lot of minor changes and fixes, as well as a set of new features. These are the highlights:
- A new Health app
- Timeline with Quick Views
- Redesigned launcher with App Glances and speed improvements
- 4-button Quick Launch
- improved email actions for Gmail users on iOS
Unfortunately, the Pebble Steel and Pebble Classic remain at version 3.12.2 for now. However, the improved Pebble apps for iPhone and Android devices work with all Pebble smartwatches that run version 3.12 of the firmware (or later).
