The CPU integrates a 533 MHz dual-channel DDR3 memory controller and communicates with a single 1800 MHz 16-Bit HyperTransport 3.0 link. The Turion II P520 is manufactured in 45nm SOI.
The performance is somewhere between a 2.1 GHz Core 2 Duo (e.g. T4300 in Cinebench 10 Multi) and a 2.3 GHz Core 2 Duo (e.g. wPrime). Therefore, the CPU is positioned in the entry level for multimedia laptops.
