Oukitel K10000 boasts 15 days battery life

Oukitel, the Chinese smartphone maker known for the 6,000 mAh battery smartphone released back in October, just went even further and showcased its new handset outfitted with huge, 10,000 mAh battery.

The device, named Oukitel K10000, comes with rather modest specs otherwise. It features a 5.5-inch, 1280 x 720 resolution display and is powered by a 64-bit, quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor, accompanied by 2 GB of RAM. The 16 GB of on-board storage space (partly taken by the Android 5.1 operating system can be expanded via micro-SD card reader.

The main, rear-facing camera uses an 8 MP sensor while the front one allows shooting 2 MP selfies. Oukitel K10000 supports dual-SIM, 4G LTE on 800 MHz, 1800 MHz, 2100 MHz and 2600 MHz. According to the manufacturer, the battery can supply power for up to 15 days of phone's operation. It also has one more, intresting feature. It supports reverse charging which means it can be used as a power source for other devices, like another phone, a camera, etc.

Oukitel's new smartphone is now available for preorder at $239. Shipments are set to start on January 2nd, 2016.
