Oppo Find 9 could come with Helio P10 SoC and 4 GB RAM
An entry in the GFXBench database has revealed more info on the unannounced Oppo Find 9 smartphone, which will apparently come with some top class core hardware despite its mid-range target price. As reported by Winfuture.de, the 5.5-inch smartphone will have the following features:
- 1920 x 1080 resolution display
- 1.9 GHz Octa-core MediaTek MT6755 (Helios P10) SoC
- Integrated Mali-T860 GPU
- 4 GB RAM
- 64 GB eMMC w/ MicroSD support
- 16 MP w/ 4K recording rear camera
Another feature for the rear camera includes a three-axis optical image stabilizer (OIS). Previous rumors hinted at a 12 or 13 MP rear camera only, so a 16 MP camera could promise even better image quality. The deep RAM and memory pools in particular are noteworthy as mid-range smartphones typically carry much less than 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of integrated storage space. Prices and release dates for the Oppo Find 9 are still unknown at this time.
Oppo recently announced it had sold a total of 50 million smartphones worldwide during all of 2015 and officially unveiled the Oppo R9 and R9 Plus flagship smartphones just earlier last month. Though still far behind Huawei and Xiaomi in terms of shipment numbers, the Chinese company is in a better position than HTC and Microsoft in the smartphone space.
