OLPC looks into language learning, partners with Little Pim

One laptop per Child and Little Pim has now decided to become partners and help the children to learn language easily in a playful method

Recently Little Pim, the award winning foreign language learning program for children has announced that they will be partners of One Laptop per Child, whose mission is to provide every child the access to new channels of learning and self expression. Little Pim has decided to add their unique Entertainment Immersion Method to the XO laptop which will make learning English an enjoyable and easy experience for children.

In this method the child’s love of play by watching real kids and animation helps the children retain new vocabulary, along with enhancing analytical, memory and concentration skills. The children will get access t learn over 360 words and phrases using all the Little Pim products.

According to Rodrigo Arboleda, Chairman and CEO of One Laptop per Child Association, they are delighted to join with Little Pim, and they share the philosophy that learning should be a joyous experience and the children learn best when learning and play are seamless activities. He also added that they are looking forward for establishing additional strategic alliances with other providers of innovation children’s software and content.

Julia Pimsleur Levine, Little Pim CEO also added that they are thrilled to be partners with One Laptop per Child and to help bring Little Pim to millions of bright young minds all over the world.
