Adam tablet to get Android Honeycomb very soon after shipping starts

Notion Ink has been hit by controversies ever since it started pre-ordering for its debut product-the Adam tablet. After numerous clarifications to prove the existence of the tablet in its production version, the startup from India has hit yet another roadblock.

Reportedly, the touchscreen shipments from China’s Sintek were damaged in transit and Notion Ink cancelled the entire shipment. Speaking on this, CEO Rohan Shravan says that their touchscreen supplier back in China is making arrangements to make up for the damaged shipments and deliver new ones as quickly as possible to Notion Ink. The maker also has promised that the Adam tablet will see a Honeycomb update soon and it is waiting for a stable platform after which the SDK will be shared with the developers. The company blog also states that customers who have pre-ordered their devices can contact preordersupport(at)notionink.com or visit the company website for any concern regarding the issue of delay.
