Deal | Newly launched Anker MagGo Qi2 power bank sees its first big price drop

With Qi2, third-party wireless chargers have now gained what was exclusive to Apple MagSafe: magnetic alignment. While it may seem like a small addition, it helps to improve the overall charging efficiency and speed. One of the first portable chargers that took advantage of the new standard was the Anker MagGo 10K power bank.

Thanks to Qi2 certification, the MagGo can also deliver up to 15 watts of wireless charging. This allows the MagSafe-compatible iPhone models to charge up two times faster, as before, third-party chargers could only offer 7.5 watts of speed. Of course, this portable charger isn’t just for Apple phones.

Android phone users can also take advantage of the reasonably fast wireless charging speed of the Anker MagGo 10K. The power bank has a two-way USB-C port too. This port can deliver up to 27 watts of power and recharge the portable charger at 20 watts. You can even recharge it while wirelessly charging a phone.

There are a good number of safety features packed into the Anker MagGo 10K. They aim to offer a safe and convenient charging experience. Now, given its 10,000 mAh capacity, the wireless power bank is on the thicker side. However, Anker did integrate a convenient feature to make up for its size.

The portable charger comes with a built-in kickstand. It enables you to charge your phone vertically or horizontally when kept on a desk. Speaking of which, you can even get your iPhone on StandBy mode when it’s placed horizontally on the power bank.

As for the price, the Qi2-certified Anker MagGo 10K is now enjoying its first sale on Amazon. You can get the white variant for just $67.49, a 25% discount from its original price of $89.99. It’s a decent price drop, given that the power bank has only been in the market for a few months.
