Neobank Revolut announces mysterious "Revolut Store"

With a brief LinkedIn post, the neobank Revolut has announced its first "Revolut Store"—essentially a retail space or bank branch. Precisely what it entails is not yet known, as this is currently just a preliminary announcement. However, it is quite noteworthy, as Revolut usually avoids a physical presence as a neobank.
That said, Revolut has already occupied numerous physical locations with installed machines. At many airports, for instance, you can simply get a Revolut payment card from a vending machine, which simplifies the account opening process.
This is possible, for example, in the airside security area of Barcelona Airport. Barcelona is also the city where Revolut has installed many of its own ATMs. These are characterized by a modern interface and an interesting integration with the app.
Furthermore, they allow cash withdrawals via QR code, NFC, and EMV (both contactless and contact). There are, however, a few weaknesses regarding accessibility; while the machines feature a stylish black design, certain elements are not easily recognizable at night. Currently, these modern ATMs are only available in Spain.
In line with this, the Revolut Store is also set to open in the Catalan capital. Barcelona is once again becoming a testing ground for the neobank. Exactly when this will happen remains unclear. How the Revolut Store will look and what services or products will be offered there also remains to be seen.
