Motorola Xoom 3G version to be delayed till March

Teaser
The Xoom 3G tablet might get delayed from the planned February launch

The Xoom Android tablet from Motorola is the next big thing in the Android territory. In a recent public appearance by Motorola Mobility CEO Sanjay Jha to discuss the company’s earnings call, he spoke about the launch date of Motorola Xoom 3G tablet and mentioned it to be at the end of February. But surprisingly, later in the same conference, he also mentioned that the 3G tablet might instead be selling from March after a short delay.

The Motorola Xoom tablet will have Verizon Wireless as its carrier and a 4G version is expected in Q2 2011. At the time of selling, the tablet will be available with a lot of accessories like cases, keyboard and docks, thus making it as accessible like a full-featured laptop. Rumors have it that the device will be priced at around $700 to $800 without a carrier contract.
