Deal | Motorola Razr 2023: Foldable smartphone now available for just $500 on Amazon and Best Buy

The Motorola Razr Plus is still on sale at Amazon and Best Buy for $699, $300 lower than its asking price. However, those who want a flip phone without the fancy secondary display can opt for its non-Plus variant, the Motorola Razr, and save a chunk of change in the process.

The Motorola Razr 2023 has dropped down to $500 on Amazon and Best Buy, the lowest it has ever been since it went on sale earlier this year. Additionally, it is an unlocked version, meaning you can simply pop in your SIM card without worrying about porting your number.

Our in-depth Motorola Razr 2023 (also known as the Motorola Razr 40 globally) calls it a "foldable for purists". Apart from a smaller secondary display, the foldable also uses a lower-end Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC with up to 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It also cuts the battery capacity down to 3,800 mAh from 4,200 mAh but keeps the charging wattage constant at 30 W.

Other Motorola Razr 2023 specs include a 6.9-inch FHD+ pOLED screen with a 144 Hz refresh rate and 1,400 nits peak brightness. For the rear display, there's a tiny 1.8-inch pOLED panel with a resolution of 194 x 368 pixels. At the back, there are two camera sensors- a 64 MP wide-angle lens and a 13 MP ultra-wide-angle lens. A 32 MP sensor handles selfies and video calls.
