Mini iPad shows up in Taiwan

Teaser
A seemingly self-publicized photo shows famous Taiwanese race driver with a mini iPad 2

The iPad 2 is set to release by February nest year, but we have already started to feel the excitement. Not only that, various rumors also started to fill the net, among which the latest is about a self-publicized photo of the famous Taiwanese celebrity and race driver Jimmy Lin with the new mini iPad.

In the photo shared by Engadget, Lin is holding the iPad 2 with his right hand and you can see the significant drop in size by comparing it with the existing model in his left hand. What havenot changed, atleast externally, is the appearance. The new iPad looks exact replica of the older one – only much smaller (rumored to be of 7-inch diagonally).

Now we do not have any proof that this is actually the mini iPad we are waiting for. Chinese manufacturer are notorious for making big model replicas and this can be any of those. Electronista even believes that this may be just a toy after all.

This could be one of the first pictures showing the iPad 2 clearly, or just a hoax. But one thing for sure – iPad 2 is destined to be hit – just like its predecessor.
