The Videocardz.com source has since taken down the page, but this will indubitably do little to stop the details from flowing to the public. As shown below, the embargoed information was purportedly set to lift later today had it not been for an unnamed leaky press source. The three new processors are as detailed below with more information to come at Computex next week.
Cortex-A75
ARM is promising a real-world performance boost of about 20 percent compared to the Cortex-A73 predecessor. The new A75 will make use of the upcoming DynamIQ big.LITTLE feature that will supposedly optimize thread distribution across all eight cores more efficiently than the existing big.LITTLE architecture. Early rumors point to a performance range similar to the unannounced Snapdragon 845.
Cortex-A55
The successor to the Cortex-A53 will be the A55 with up to 2x the raw performance while being 15 percent more power efficient. ARM is stressing scalability with the A55 architecture for easier implementation amongst cheap budget devices up to higher-end mainstream alternatives. DynamIQ big.LITTLE will also be supported.
Mali-G72
Finally, the Mali-G72 GPU will succeed the existing Mali-G71 with a promise of up to 40 percent faster graphics power. The architecture will integrate 32 shaders and be optimized for both VR applications and machine learning.
