The upcoming V5 Android smartphone is expected to target the mid-range area of the market. The images that surfaced show what appears to be a plastic body with a removable back panel, as well as a fingerprint reader.
The V family of smartphones by LG currently consists of just two devices - the LG V10 and the LG V20. Now, it looks like they will soon get a more affordable sibling, one that will carry a name to match its place in the lineup - LG V5.
While nothing is official yet, a recent set of leaked renders comes with the information that the official announcement should arrive soon. The images show what appears to be a plastic body, a fingerprint scanner on the back, as well as a removable, curved back panel. The display is said to have 5.3 inches in size, most likely offering 1,920X1,080 pixels or less.
In addition to the above, there is also a micro USB port and the traditional 3.5 mm audio jack. All these should be taken with a grain of salt for now since the LG V5 is expected to become official at CES, but that remains to be seen.

In my early school days, I hated writing and having to make up stories. A decade later, I started to enjoy it. Since then, I published a few offline articles and then I moved to the online space, where I contributed to major websites that are still present online as of 2021 such as Softpedia, Brothersoft, Download3000, but I also wrote for multiple blogs that have disappeared over the years. I've been riding with the Notebookcheck crew since 2013 and I am not planning to leave it anytime soon. In love with good mechanical keyboards, vinyl and tape sound, but also smartphones, streaming services, and digital art.
