Kia has announced the pricing of the new PV5 Passenger electric family vehicle in several EU countries. The EV was unveiled earlier this year as a competitor to the Volkswagen ID.Buzz. There is a Passenger version, as well as commercial vehicles: the PV5 Cargo, PV5 Crew and PV5 Chassis Cab.
In European countries like the Netherlands, France, and Germany, the PV5 Passenger will start from €39,995 for the Essential variant. The Plus trim, which adds a heated steering wheel, a wireless phone charger and support for V2L, starts from €40,995. Both are available with 51.5 kWh or 71.2 kWh batteries.
Next up is the Elite trim, only available with the 71.2 kWh battery, from €47,745. This option has features like a blind spot camera, side parking sensors and a 360° camera. At the top of the range is the Elite Executive trim, again with the larger battery size, from €50,245. It has 16-inch alloy wheels and an electrically operated tailgate and sliding doors.
Comparing the entry-level options, the Kia PV5 Passenger is around €10,000 cheaper than the ID.Buzz in this market. In the UK, the pricing of the PV5 Passenger will start from £32,995. Kia says that it will start accepting orders for the PV5 Passenger in Europe “in the coming weeks”, with the first deliveries currently scheduled for October 2025. The Kia PV5 will be launched in Europe and Korea in 2025, arriving in other markets in 2026. However, the company has yet to announce plans to bring this EV to the US.
