Is Chrome OS coming to ARM processors?

Teaser
The Chrome OS might be on its way for the gadgets running on ARM based processors, although it might not include the tablets and the Smartphones

Although Google had earlier made it clear that they are never going to introduce the browser based platform on tablets and Smartphones, however they have not even mentioned that they will not be releasing the Chrome OS for devices powered by similar silicon platforms.

The Issue tracker of the Chromium OS project shows that Chrome OS compatible with ARM architecture is already under work, and even in Samsung Exynos 5250 chips. Although it is a kind of a mystery device till now regarding the hardware only the condemned ‘Daisy’ is known so far.

So it seems like Google is getting engaged with some ARM based gadgets. It is also a point to be noted that Chromium project is mainly based on user’s contribution so the work might not be directed by Mountain View.
