Adobe has recently announced that it will soon be ending support for Flash Players on mobile devices running Android and BlackBerry Tablets and are planning on shifting their efforts toward HTML5. And this comment will surely include Androids latest Platform the Ice Cream Sandwich.
All this also means that the latest Samsung Galaxy Nexus does not have support for Flash. This has also been a plus point of the iOS over Android.
Earlier Adobe has announced that Flash Player 11.1 would be the last version for mobiles. Slashgear reached out to Google and received a comment as Adobe was working on updating the browser plugin to support Google’s latest operating system. So there might be a hope of getting a Flash player later.
There might be a probability that Flash videos or flash games may be running on Android 4.0, but by the time Android 5.0 reaches the market Flash will not be a support for any of the future Android devices.
