MWC 2015 | Huawei MediaPad T1 7.0 and T1 10 oficially announced

At MWC 2015, Huawei has expanded its Android tablet range by announcing the MediaPad T1 7.0 and the MediaPad T1 10. These affordable tablets are priced starting at around 100 Euro.

Chinese manufacturer Huawei took the stage at MWC 2015 in Barcelona to announce two new budget-oriented Android tablets, the MediaPad T1 7.0, and the MediaPad T1 10.

The Huawei MediaPad 7.0 comes with a 7-inch IPS display running a resolution of 1280 by 800 pixels. Although the Chinese telecommunications giant has yet to announce all the hardware specs, it was revealed that the MediaPad 7.0 features 2MP cameras on both the front and the back, 8GB of integrated storage space, as well a microSD card slot. The tablet measures 191.8 x 107 x 8.6mm and tips the scales at 278 grams. The MediaPad T1 7.0 will be launched in April at a price of 100 Euro for the WiFi-only model, and 130 Euro for the 3G version.

The Huawei MediaPad T1 10 comes with a 9.6-inch IPS display running a resolution of 1280 by 800 pixels. Under the hood, we find a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chip, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of integrated storage space, a 4800 mAh battery, as well as a microSD slot that can work with cards of up to 64GB in size. The MediaPad T1 10 runs Android 4.4 KitKat, overlaid with Huawei's own Emotion UI 3.0. The tablet will be launched in late March at a price of 200 Euro for the WiFi only version and 250 Euro for the LTE model.
