The Hannspree Hannsbook may not be all the different from many other netbooks on the market but it does have a few advantages including one of the best prices available. It is possible to find it as little as $250 which is well below what many similarly equipped netbooks cost. The downside is that there is little to distinguish the netbook from the competition other than a anti-glare screen compared to glossy displays..

The Hannsbook SN10E24 doesn't push any boundaries in terms of performance and specification, so is a true "netbook" in terms of its rather limited use. It succeeds in this market by ticking all of the most important boxes in terms of design and connectivity however, and being reasonably priced is still a worthy rival to more established brands.

The Hannspree SN12-E22B displays the portability of a netbook, but with twice the power and a highly impressive screen thrown into the mix as well. However, usability is slightly flawed so you should aim to try before you buy.

Halfway between a netbook and a notebook, the Hannspree HannsBook SN12E2 is in the budget ultra-portable category. With this low-budget notebook, Hannspree is offering a decent alternative to netbooks. Compact and with good battery life, performance levels are satisfactory in view of the low energy consumption. The sound of the fan is a real drawback and there's far too much glossy plastic. You can find better for just a few pounds more... if your budget allows.

Hannspree's new Hannsbook is an attractive budget offering in a burgeoning netbook market and, while it doesn't really bring anything new to the table, a solid, attractive design and competent performance will certainly appeal to those looking to buy a portable on a shoestring.

Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 3150: Integrated (shared memory) graphics card in the intel Atom N4xx CPUs. Minimally faster than an old GMA 950 and therefore not suited for 3D games or HD videos (only MPEG2 acceleration).
These graphics cards are not suited for Windows 3D games. Office and Internet surfing however is possible.

Intel Atom: The Intel Atom series is a 64-Bit (not every model supports 64bit) microprocessor for cheap and small notebooks (so called netbooks), MIDs, or UMPCs. The speciality of the new architecture is the "in order" execution (instead of the usual and faster "out of order" execution). Therefore, the transistor count of the Atom series is much lower and, thus, cheaper to produce. Furthermore, the power consumption is very low. The performance per Megahertz is therfore worse than the old Pentium 3M (1,2 GHz on par with a 1.6 GHz Atom).
N450:
Intel Atom CPU for Netbooks with integrated memory controller and GMA 3150 GPU. The performance of the system should be only minimally faster than the previous Atom N280 / GMA 950 combination.

This is a standard display format for tablet computers or small convertibles. You see more on the screen than on a smartphone but you can't use big resolutions well. On the other hand, mobility is not a problem.

They focus on TV hardware and released their first laptop in 2009. The market share seems to be very low, despite they have several offices throughout the world.
70%: This rating is poor. More than three quarters of the models are rated better. That is rather not a purchase recommendation. Even if verbal ratings in this area do not sound that bad ("sufficient" or "satisfactory"), they are usually euphemisms that disguise a classification as a below-average laptop.
