Google might start an online store for Android tablets

Teaser
Google seems to have plans for an online store which might be the destination for the customers seeking Android devices

Google seems to be preparing now for Online Store for their latest tablet that has a probability of getting released within this year. However, there has not been any official confirmation about the online store.

It is expected that the company will be selling various Android devices from Asus, Samsung and other manufacturers that already make Android devices. Among them some of the devices will also be co-branded with Google’s name similar to the Nexus One Smartphone made by HTC a few years ago. According to some rumors a Google-Asus-branded tablet might be on its way to the market by 2012, and could even be sold in these online stores.

Apart from these, Google might even go for a device manufactured by them, as they had earlier acquired Motorola Mobility. There is also another possibility that Google might time the release of this device with the next Version of Android which is also known as the Jelly bean.

However after the release of the device their main competition will be with the Apple’s iPads as it mostly captures the tablet market. However, the Amazons Kindle Fire was quite successful in its sales which run on the Android platform. So there is even a possibility that Google might plan to release a lower-price segment device.
