Fujitsu has done an excellent job with the Lifebook U937. It’s the lightest ultrabook on the market by a decent margin and doesn’t skimp on anything to get there. If Fujitsu replace PalmSecure with a depth sensor for Windows Hello and upgrade the Lifebook U937 with Intel’s latest 8th-generation CPUs, it would be the best ultrabook on the market without a doubt. Despite those minor issues, the Lifebook U937 is a brilliant unit if you want the lightest full featured laptop around.

All things considered, the Fujitsu Lifebook doesn’t really have what it takes to be the next "must-have laptop" of the moment. However, it could probably cut it as “the laptop you can get away with”. Or at least, you could if it was priced accordingly. As it stands, it’s more expensive than a lot of its competition and doesn’t quite deliver on the expectations afforded to it by that higher price.

The Fujitsu Lifebook U937 is a seriously mixed bag. The internal hardware is excellent, and offers business-grade performance that will easily see you through all but the most high-intensity tasks. The display, too, is excellent and Fujitsu has included a number of business-friendly features like heaps of connectivity and authentication options.

Model: The Fujitsu Notebook Lifebook U937 is an ultra-mobile notebook for business professionals who are always on the move. The solid magnesium housing ensures durability while security features such as the integrated palm vein sensor keep business data protected. The powerful performance and the optional embedded 4G/LTE provide the best-in-class user experience. Fujitsu's Lifebook U series machines have always emphasized the use of thin and light design. However, in term of quality it still has Made in Japan (MIJ) characteristics. The Lifebook U937 still uses a thin design. With a height of only 15.5 mm and a weight of only 799 g, it is indeed very convenient to use. The Lifebook U937 uses a 13.3-inch matte anti-reflective screen. The screen is very thin and the screen border is also very slim. Even if a user looked at the laptop for a long time to browse, the eyes will not as discomfort compared to a glossy screen. Although the resolution is only 1920 x 1080, it is generally enough to browse the web or through files. It can deliver very clear and sharp text display.
Under the hood, it is equipped with an Intel Core i5-7200U processor, an Intel HD Graphics 620 GPU, 12 GB of RAM, and a 256 GB SSD. The decently performing hardware is enough to perform multiple heavy programs at the same time. As for the TouchPad, the area is relatively small, which is generally easy to use with a single finger control. Fujitsu Lifebook U937 uses a general full-sized keyboard layout but there is no backlight. If used in a dark place, the user may not see the location of different keys. Input and output ports are also very complete. In addition to the traditional USB, USB-C is also available. The U937 also features the Anytime USB Charge Utility which can be activated in the event of a shutdown. The user can still have USB cable connected to the computer and mobile devices and charging. In addition, the user can also set the computer to use quick charge for mobile device charging with the utility. The laptop also has built-in Waves MaxxAudio software, so a user can customize the sound effects. In such a thin body, the laptop still fits various adapters such as HDMI, LAN, SD card. A very thin laptop with great connectivity is indeed rare. The left side of the laptop is completed with a charging jack, HDMI output, USB-C slot, USB 3.0 slot and 3.5mm headphone jack. The right side of the laptop provides a Kensington Lock, LAN, USB 3.0, and an SD card reader.

There are hardly any tablets in this display size range anymore. For subnotebooks, on the other hand, it is the standard format.
The advantage of subnotebooks is that the entire laptop can be small and therefore easily portable. The smaller display also has the advantage of requiring less power, which further improves battery life and thus mobility. The disadvantage is that reading texts is more strenuous on the eyes. High resolutions are more likely to be found in standard laptops.

Its products and services focus on information technology, telecommunications, semiconductors, networks, computer and communications products and advanced microelectronics.
In 1999, the cooperation with Siemens in the IT sector (servers, notebooks, desktop PCs, etc.) started under the Fujitsu-Siemens brand. 10 years later, this cooperation ended.
74.62%: This rating is poor. More than three quarters of the models are rated better. That is rather not a purchase recommendation. Even if verbal ratings in this area do not sound that bad ("sufficient" or "satisfactory"), they are usually euphemisms that disguise a classification as a below-average laptop.
