Could HP be planning a WebOS netbook?

Teaser
There are reports of a WebOS device with a non-sliding keyboard

R. Todd Bradley, Executive Vice President, Personal Systems Group, HP promised back in January this year that the company plans to take WebOS beyond smartphones and tablets to netbooks and even desktops if possible. Now Engadget reports of a leaked log file that mentions two new WebOS devices – a keyboard-less smartphone and a device sporting 1024 x 768 pixels worth of resolution with a non-sliding keyboard. Could this mean an HP WebOS netbook is on the cards?

The Touchpad looks quite promising with its high profile hardware configuration and a promised breezy WebOS 3.0. If the netbook becomes real, will it be a typical type-only netbook or a touch-and-type one? Note that the WebOS is optimized for touch devices as of now.

The log also reveals that there won’t be any removable battery.
