Reviews for the Carbon 1 Mk II

79.1% Carbon 1 Mk II smartphone review - Innovative, light and outdated | Notebookcheck
With some delay, but a revolutionary carbon chassis, the Carbon 1 Mk II finally comes to the end user. Some things still feel like a prototype, but at the same time you have the feeling that you are holding a revolution in your hands. Is that enough to convince in everyday use?

Imagination PowerVR GM9446: Middle class graphics card for smartphones which is integrated in ARM SoCs. Supports OpenGL ES 3.2, Vulkan 1.1, OpenCL 1.2 and Android NN HAL. The performance should be slightly better than a Adreno 430.

Non demanding games should be playable with these graphics cards.

Helio P90: ARM based octa-core SoC with 2x big ARM Cortex-A75 cores (2.2 GHz max.) and 6x small and power efficient ARM Cortex-A55 cores (2 GHz max.). Integrates a Cat-12 (DL) / Cat-13 (UL) LTE Modem (4G), IMG PowerVR GM 9446 GPU and a dedicated AI processing unit.» Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Processsors.

Only a few smartphones have larger screens.
Large display-sizes allow higher resolutions. So, details like letters are bigger. On the other hand, the power consumption is lower with small screen diagonals and the devices are smaller, more lightweight and cheaper.

» To find out how fine a display is, see our DPI List.

0.125 kg:

Only few smartphones are more lightweight than this.

79.1%: This rating is not convincing. The laptop is evaluated below average, this is not really a recommendation for purchase.
