Amazon has dropped the price of the Bose SoundLink Flex portable Bluetooth speaker (2nd gen) by 20% for a $30 savings off the MSRP of $149. The portable speaker reproduces music even when submerged up to 3.3 feet (1 m) underwater thanks to its IP67 rating and rugged design that withstands drops.
When paired with a second SoundLink Flex, owners can create a stereo speaker set when listening to music. They can further increase the sound output in Party Mode by having all connected speakers play the same music.
Bose PositionIQ technology senses the orientation of the portable speaker to automatically optimize the sound output. Users can further adjust the equalization using the Bose smartphone app.
The SoundLink Flex connects to audio sources over Bluetooth 5.3. A built-in nylon strap allows the 1.3-pound (0.6 kg) speaker to be clipped to backpacks and carried on outings to the beach or mountains.
