In a recent happening, Best Buy Co., Inc. a specialty retailer of consumer electronics in the United States that accounts for about 19% of the market, showed up three unknown iPad SKU entries, when the search entry was queried in its online store. Out of the three queer results, two are priced at $600 while the third is pegged at a priced at $700.
A possible explanation of this anomaly could be that retailers often follow the practice of putting SKUs in their systems in advance to prepare for new models, but even that seems highly unlikely as Apple rarely divulges any details about its products to stores.
These models that have unexpectedly shown up are not described as yet and are redundant in the system. The internal inventory tracking system has labeled three unknown iPad SKU entries as unreleased models.
