Teaser
Few more HP TouchPad to be made available to the customers by Best Buy this week

After discounting the prices, the HP TouchPads are hardly to be seen in the markets. But if you are still in the list of the people’s searching for that model there is one more chance to get your hands on it. Best Buy store this week is selling some more of it.

Soon after the company reduced the price of HP TouchPad to $99 for a 16GB model and $149 for a 32GB model, there are no stocks to be found. Almost all the pieces in the market were sold out. A few days later HP announced for the releasing of the leftover pieces from their stock. Even they didn’t last for long. But now Inventory screen of best buy suggest that the tablet will be back soon and that the company will be using a ticket system for customers to help avoid large crowds. The idea is that you go to the store and sign up to get notified when the tablets arrive.

Until now it’s not clear how many units are available and if all the Best Buy locations will have models or not.

Well, the HP TouchPad has a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon dual core processor with a 9.7inch screen with a 1024x 768 pixel capacitive touchscreen display. It is powered by webOS, but hackers have already managed to run it with Ubuntu (a Linux platform). There are even several projects underway to port Android to run on Touchpad.
