The ROG Rapture GT-BE19000AI is the world’s first router that features a built-in AI processor, delivering next-level intelligence and automation to any network. Wireless speeds reach 19 Gbps and total wired bandwidth is 31 Gbps.

AI continues to be a great selling point for device makers, so it’s easy to understand why they tend to integrate AI-powered features in almost any conceivable product. Need an AI-powered router that can intelligently optimize latency, configure network access hassle-free and maintain peak network performance all the time? Asus got us covered with the ROG Rapture GT-BE19000AI - the world’s first AI-powered Wi-Fi 7 router.

This model features a quad-core 2.6 GHz main CPU complemented by 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB flash storage, and also features a dedicated AI processor with four cores running at 2.1 GHz plus a 7.9 TOPS NPU, which comes with an additional 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB flash storage. This ensures AI functions have exclusive compute resources and run independently of core operations.

The separate AI processor also enables the integration of a Docker Engine that lets users run apps like Home Assistant for smart home automation, or Frigate for AI video recognition.  Many other apps are supported and can run directly on the router for seamless control of a diverse IoT ecosystem inside the wider coverage area.

Another AI-powered feature is the Private Edge AI chatbot assistant that helps users  fix common issues and perform quick control actions. Additionally, the AI Enhancement suite offers automatic ways to optimize WiFi stability, gaming latency, energy efficiency, and device management, ensuring faster and more reliable experiences.

As far as gaming features are concerned, the ROG Rapture GT-BE19000AI can help reduce latency by up to 34% via features like GTNet or Adaptive QoE that automatically observe traffic and dynamically adjust priorities in real time, while selecting the fastest route in real-time.

Thanks to the latest Wi-Fi 7 technologies, this router offers speeds of up to 19 Gbps in wireless mode. For wired connections, there are two 10 GbE connectors, and an additional 4x 2.5G LAN ports. One of the 10G ports can be used as a dedicated gaming connection to prioritize traffic with minimum configuration. For even faster wired speeds, two Ethernet ports can be combined into a single logical link aggregating 20 Gbps bandwidth. Total wired speeds can reach 31 Gbps.

Asus has not yet revealed MSRP or availability for this model.
