Asus G75 gaming laptop is now up for pre-order
The latest Asus G75, which is one high end gaming laptop, is up for pre-orders. This new device features the Intel’s third generation Ivy Bridge processor. The G75 can also be called as an update of the Asus G74SX which was introduced last year.
The processor has been updated to a quad-core Intel Core i7-3610QM CPU which speeds at 2.3GHz. This processor is also expected to provide a better battery life and much desired performance for this laptop from the Asus Republic of Gamers series.
It also seems like Asus has also upgraded the graphics card to an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660M with 2GB of GDDR5 video memory. We can also say that the G75 laptop will be one of the first devices based on the new Kepler architecture chips.
Apart from these updates the model is same attractive as its predecessor with an attractive black design along with a 17.3inch screen. It also feels like the laptop is a bit lighter than G74 as it weighs about 8.7pounds.
The device is for pre-orders on Gadgets Central Station and Guermant and is priced at $1450. The device also comes with a 16GB memory and a 750GB of a hybrid hard drive. And judging from the photographs released the device is also said to have a DVD burner, HDMI port and USB 3.0 ports.
Nothing much about the device is known yet. So we will have to wait for the device to get officially released into the market.
