We’re a fan of its media capabilities, a surprisingly usable rear camera and for those who need an affordable dual-SIM device, this is undoubtedly one handset we’d strongly recommend. Assuming it makes the jump from KitKat to Android JellyBean, the 52 Platinum should stay relevant for a little longer and whilst it definitely isn’t for everyone, it’s unquestionable right for a very specific group of users. We just hope you’ve found our review.

The entire device comes in dark grey and the device is surrounded by a beautiful metal bezel. Display on the Archos 52 Platinum is a 5.25 inch HD IPS panel, which produces sharp images and good colors.

This display is quite big for a smartphone but frequently used for smartphones.
Large display-sizes allow higher resolutions. So, details like letters are bigger. On the other hand, the power consumption is lower with small screen diagonals and the devices are smaller, more lightweight and cheaper.

Only few smartphones are more lightweight than this.
