The last time the Apple iOS’ version 4.2 for the iPad came out it addressed the WiFi problem and added a couple of features over its previous version. But one change that some iPad users really disliked was the change in functionality of the side switch from orientation lock to mute. But after the release of the beta of the upcoming iOS 4.3, it looks like Apple has in store a solution to keep everyone happy.
The latest iOS version in its beta form comes to developers and now enables users to choose the iPad side switch functionality: whether to act as a screen orientation lock or a mute button. Also in the feature list is multitasking gestures for the iPad. iPad users will now be able to use four- or five-finger gestures and will be able to pinch to return to the home screen, swipe up to gain access to the multitasking bar, and swipe left or right to rotate between active apps. The latest iteration of the iOS will also make available AirPlay video support to third-party developers, thus allowing new apps to transmit video from an iPad to an Apple TV.
