Apple: "Media Stream" feature seen in iOS 4.3 code

The Apple iOS 4.3’s beta was out just recently, and as the news broke it brought along news of many improvements over the previous version of the iOS.

Talking of improvements and new features, reports are talking of a new feature, "Media Stream" which has been found in the iOS 4.3 code that is in development currently. Within the code section of this new feature also resides a section called "Photo Streaming”. What experts are saying on this is that, the new feature is planned to let users subscribe to Photo Streams from friends. What also being is said is that this new feature strongly suggests Apple's cloud computing intentions and is also strongly related to the recent “Find my Friends” feature found in the iOS 4.3 beta. It is also being predicted that the "Media Stream" functionality might also extend to music and videos later, apart from pictures.

Talking of the Cupertino Company’s cloud computing intentions, it is almost ready for the launch of its data center in North Carolina, supposedly the house for its cloud-based content. Looking at all this, Apple sure seems to be aiming at beating all those social networks out there.
