With the launch of Honeycomb 3.2 coming for the Motorola Xoom and Asus Transformer, Google has promptly released the corresponding software development kit (SDK). The kit also provides some new guidelines for 7-inch tablet displays as well.
Some new features of 3.2 include compatibility zooming for fixed-sized apps, SD card media syncing, extended screen support API for developers and general system optimizations.
The new platform can be downloaded with the Android SDK Manager, but developers should definitely check out the full details and changelog in the official Google post here.
Outside of the Xoom and Transformer, an upcoming tablet from Huawei is expected to ship with Honeycomb 3.2 sometime this September. Whether or not additional Honeycomb-ready tablets will support the new release, such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab, has yet to be announced.
