The Taiwan-based manufacturer has launched an Aspire notebook running on AMD’s latest lineup of Fusion processors.
Called the AS5560G, the 15.6-inch notebook sports the hefty 1.5GHz quad-core A8-3500M APU with integrated Radeon HD 6470M graphics. Otherwise, the rest of the specs are standard fare, including its 1366x768 resolution display, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD, DVD burner, 3x USB 2.0, webcam, HDMI-out, multi-card reader, VGA and Windows 7 Home Premium.
The unit is listed with up to 4 hours of battery life off of its 6-cell, 4400mAh battery. Expect the notebook to weigh in at about 5.73 pounds (2.6kg) total.
The Aspire AS5560G is now available for $699.
