Shortly after being spotted in a shipping document, Evan Blass reveals that SM-G891A is known as Samsung Poseidon and is currently being tested by AT&T.

The Samsung handset with model number SM-G891A has just been spotted on Zauba, but it looks like this handset is not only being tested in India these days. According to notorious leakster Evan Blass, this next-gen rugged Samsung handset is currently being tested by AT&T as well.

Less than a day ago, Evan Blass posted on Twitter the following message: "That SM-G891A in testing at AT&T is known as the Samsung Poseidon." Previously, he also had confirmed that the model spotted on Zauba is being tested by AT&T. However, his initial message also contains a question that has no clear answer yet - "Updated SKU, GS7 Active, or other?"

Poseidon was one of the twelve Olympian deities of the pantheon in Greek mythology, and since he is known as the God of the Sea, there is little doubt about the SM-G891A's protection from water. Unfortunately, the name does not reveal anything about the innards of this handset, so we should wait for the next rumors to find out more.
