Teaser
Sony might be releasing a new tablet called the Crystal with AT&T, which may be restricted to HSPA+ networks

3G tablets are already made available by a lot of manufacturers in the US. Most of these tablets are offering 3G services with the help of AT&T as service providers. Some of the big names in this race are Samsung, HTC, Acer and even Pantech and all of them have released one 3G device within the last six months.

Among these big names we are missing Sony, as in the United States they only have Wi-Fi models. But they already have 3G models of Tablet S and Tablet P, which are operating in Japan. So now there is a recently leaked rumors that says Sony will also be releasing a 3G tablet code named as the Crystal in the US.

Although not much has been revealed about this device's hardware but it is leaked that it will be restricted to HSPA+ networks. Well it is a bit strange from a consumer’s point of view as even some cheap tablets are used AT&T’s LTE data speed now.

The leak reports also say that the tablet will get launched in the first quarter of this year and maybe it will be on 18th of February and will be priced at $409.99. This price will also include a two-year data contract.
