According to a report from Notebookitalia, the Taiwan-based electronics outfit ASUS will launch its MeMO Pad 10 tablet in Europe later this month. The mobile device runs on an Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system and will presumably have a starting price of €299 (up to €349 depending on the configuration).

Unlike ASUSTek’s MeMO Pad ME172V (translated from Notebookcheck.com) model, the ME301T comes equipped with a 10.1-inch capacitive IPS (improved viewing angles) touchscreen display of 1280-by-800 pixels native resolution. The tablet is powered by an NVIDIA Tegra 3 system on a chip that packs four processing cores clocked at 1.2GHz and the integrated GeForce ULP graphics card.

In addition to the Quad-Core CPU, the MeMO Pad 10 (also known as MeMO Pad 10 Smart) will feature 1GB of RAM, 16GB of eMMC storage and two built-in cameras – 5MP on the back and a 1.2MP front-facing web camera. Connectivity-wise, the slate PC sports Wireless LAN 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0+HS radios, one micro USB 2.0 port, a micro HDMI output and a microSD card reader slot for expanding the storage up to 32GB.

The report also indicates that the portable device measures 10.5mm (about 0.41-inch) thick, weighs 580g with the battery that lasts up to 8.5 hours on a single charge and will be available in Crystal White, Midnight Blue and Hot Pink.
