The Amlogic AML8726-M is a cheap SoC (System on a Chip) for Android tablets and smartphones. It integrates two ARM Cortex-A9 cores (max. 1,5 GHz) with SIMD extensions and an ARM Mali-400 graphics card. Furthermore, the chip supports hardware decoding of 1080p videos according to Amlogic.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 QSD8250 was one of the first Snapdragon SoCs for smartphones and tablets featuring a Scorpion CPU core, an Adreno 200 GPU and GSM/UMTS radio.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 8930AB is a high clocked dual-core ARM based SoC for smartphones. It integrates two Krait 300 CPU cores clocked at max. 1.7 GHz (the MSM8930 offers only Krait 200 cores at 1.2 GHz) and an Adreno 305 GPU. The whole chip is produced in 28nm LP at TSMC.
