Viewsonic focuses on the smaller sizes at the moment

First a 7-inch tablet, and now a 5-inch – Viewsonic seems to target all parts of the product chain. Apart from their planned launch of a 7-inch tablet and further two 10-inch models powered by Android and dual booting (Windows 7 and Android) capability, the company is planning a 5-inch system - as reported by DigiTimes.

The company has not yet confirmed whether the 5-inch machine would be made available globally or not. They only said that they are mainly aiming the emerging markets in Southeast Asia where the demand more than ever.

Now, with the launch of 5-inch tablet, ViewSonic has 5, 7 and 10-inch respectively in their kitty, like the good old players like Dell. Smaller size is the in thing proved by the rumor that even Apple is planning a 7-inch iPad. As we all know, the company has lot to prove since it is a new enterprise as far as Dell is concerned, so the company has to come out with better strategy to do justice to their selling.

The tablet market is unarguably getting bigger and tougher at the same time. Every manufacturer wants to grab their share of pie by launching various tablets that are at their disposal. ViewSonic is emerging as another crucial player by launching the latest Android tablet, Dell and Archos had done the same strategy and succeeded as well by launching various ranges of Google Android devices.
