Wi-Fi only Galaxy Tab now on sale, priced at $350
Owing to the decent popularity the Galaxy Tab received, Samsung decide to make the Wi-Fi only model available to public. The Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi is now available across various retailers in the US for only $350. This is in competition to the $499 for the 16GB Wi-Fi only iPad 2 and some even more expensive tablets like the Xoom, Eee Pad or Inspiron Duo (all the three with more features though).
The model called GT-P1010CWAXAR sports the same 7” multi-touch display (not sure if it is a super AMOLED display) running Android 2.2 aka Froyo. There is the same 16GB internal storage with a microSD support of up to 32GB. Connectivity is taken care of by the 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1. The dual-camera will let you video call and take picture as well.
You can get this latest gadget on Amazon, TigerDirect, CompUSA, and Circuit City – reports Laptoping.
