U24 Pro: Possibly upcoming HTC smartphone shows face in new leak
The HTC U series of Android smartphones is once again thought to gain a new flagship in 2024. Then again, there is no sign of the Pro moniker required in its latest leak, either.
Nevertheless, the HTC 2QDA100 - also known as "enodugls_00709", according to the Google Play Console - is now associated with an FHD+ display, just like that of the U23 Pro. The database also yields a mugshot of its apparent successor, which is where the 2 devices appear to part ways.
The "U24 Pro" seems to have a front panel more curved than that of its alleged predecessor, which had a relatively flat display. On the other hand, that design choice gave the U23 Pro some noticeable bezels and a chin, which might have receded somewhat in the 2QDA100.
Then again, the device also plainly has the U23 Pro's headphone jack, which is something you don't get in many other new Snapdragon 7 Gen 3-powered handsets, not even the OnePlus Nord CE 4 or Motorola Edge 50 Pro.
Finally, Google seems to attest that the device will have 12GB of RAM, just like the U23 Pro that currently goes for $349.99 on Amazon, but will come with Android 14 out of the box.
