Source: PC Mag
The entry-level Toshiba Satellite L505D-ES5025 ($829.98 list), sold at Staples, evolves from its predecessor, the Satellite L505D-S5996 ($580.00 list, ), by bringing another 1GB of memory to the party, stepping up the AMD Turion II CPU and accompanying integrated ATI graphics chip a notch (albeit for an extra $250). You can find faster, better designed, and longer running low-cost laptops than the Toshiba Satellite L505D-ES5025.

CommentATI Radeon HD 4200: Onboard graphics adapter (RS880M chipset) with UVD2 (PIP support) and DX 10.1 support (compared to the older HD 3200). Beware, possibly no 2D acelleration in Windows XP (as the HD3200). Only some 3D games with very low demands are playable with these cards. » Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Graphics Cards and the corresponding Benchmark List.
M520: Entry level dual core CPU by AMD which features an integrated memory controller (400MHz DDR2) and is based (partially?) on the K10 core. The performance should be most of the times compareable to a 2.0 Celeron Dual Core / Pentium (sometimes even to a 2.4 GHz Core 2 Duo).» Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Processsors.
